A Bunny and His Dragon

Goren had been opposed to her just putting her face in the tent, since he didn’t know what this rogue gnoll was going to do—maybe to his sisters, if she hadn’t done something already. Kashira just shushed him. She was a dragon, after all, and she was not afraid of anything.

It was bitterly cold. There was a long silence, just

“You really know where they are?” Goren’s voice was muffled from his face being against her mane, but his collar clarified it for her.

It was almost dark; the twilight made it a little hard for Kashira to see. She was good at seeing in the dark and excellent at seeing in the light, but in-between stages of light were a little harder for her...

Lukka breathed in deep, held it in her lungs a moment, before letting it out slowly. It is like I asked a fae to grant my wishes. She glanced up at Karrok, who had far too much smarm in his grin as he looked down at her; he was waiting for her to react to the way he intended to fulfill her demands.

Kashira thrummed as Goren straightened up from holding her nose. “Well, it’s time to go, so remove your clothes and put them away in my bag so they are dry tonight.” She could see all the heat that came to Goren’s face as he reflexively shook his head no.
